No Yeast Pizza
Ingredients
For the dough
- 2 1/4 cup All purpose flour/Maida
- 2 tsp Baking powder
- 3/4 tsp Salt
- 3 tbsp Olive oil / Avocado oil
- 3/4 cup Water
For the sauce
- 3/4 cup Onion paste
- 2 cup Tomato purée
- 1 tsp Garlic paste
- 2 tsp Chilli powder
- 1 tsp Pepper powder
- 1 tsp Sugar
- Salt
- 2 tbsp Tomato ketchup
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 4 tbsp Water
- 3 tbsp Oil
For the topping
- 1 cup Mushroom sliced
- 1/2 cup Onion sliced
- 1/2 cup Spring onion chopped
- 1 cup Chicken / Sweetcorn
- 5-6 count Cherry tomatoes
- 1 cup Cheddar cheese
- 1 cup Mozzarella cheese
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
Directions
For the dough
In a bowl, mix flour baking powder and salt.
Add water. Knead for 2-3 minutes.
Add oil. Knead for a minute or two.
Shape it into a ball.
Cover it with cling film. Keep it aside.
Let us prepare the sauce. Heat a heavy bottom pan. Add oil. Add onion paste and garlic paste.Cook for 2-3 minutes.Now add tomato purée.Keep stirring.Add chilli powder, pepper powder, Italian seasoning, salt and sugar. Now add tomato ketchup and water. Let it thicken.Turn off the heat.Keep it aside.
Stir fry the rest of the topping separately in another pan, except the cheese.
Divide the dough into two parts.
I am using a cast iron pan instead of pizza tin.
Dust it with semolina. Pre heat the oven at 180 degrees C for 10 minutes.
Roll out dough using a rolling pin.
Place it in the oven.Bake for 8-10 minutes.
Remove it from the oven. Now spread the pizza sauce and the topping evenly. Drizzle 1 tbsp of olive oil on top.
Bake for 7-8 minutes with top and bottom rods..
