Sweet potato crackers

Ingredients

  • 250 g All purpose flour/Maida
  • 170 g Sweet potato (mashed)
  • 1/4 cup Refined oil
  • 2 tbsp Chopped garlic
  • 2 tbsp Red chilli flakes
  • 1 tbsp Chaat masala
  • 1 tsp Lemon zest
  • 1 tbsp Water
  • Salt

Pressure cook 170 gms of sweet potato.Remove the skin and mash it well.

In a food processor mix the spices ,cooked sweet potatoes,flour ,lemon zest ,salt and oil.

Knead it gently. Add more water if required.

Cover it with cling film and refrigerate it for 30 minutes.

Divide the dough into two parts .Take one portion and roll the dough nice and thin. Refrigerate the other portion.

Meanwhile pre heat the oven in fan mode with both the top and bottom rods on at 150 degreesC.

Cut it into desired shapes.Prick it with a fork.

Line a rectangular tin with parchment sheet.

Bake at 150 degrees C on fan mode for 18-20 minutes .

Transfer it to a wire rack.Let it cool.
