Stuffed buns flavoured with garlic,lemon zest and black pepper..
Ingredients
For the dough..
- 2 cups All purpose flour/ Maida
- 1 1/2 tbsp Milk powder
- 1 1/8 tsp Instant dry yeast
- Water 3/4 cup + 1 tbsp
- 5 tsp Fresh cream
- 3/4 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 3/4 tsp Salt
For the flavouring..
- 1 tsp Lemon zest
- 1 1/2 tsp Garlic paste
- 1 tsp Black pepper ( coarsely ground )
- 3 tbsp Oil
Directions
In a bowl , mix flour, milk powder ,yeast,fresh cream ,salt and sugar.
Mix it well.
Add water.
Knead well for 6-7 minutes. Add oil .Knead for another 3-4 minutes.
Shape it into a ball and place it in a well oiled bowl . Let it rise . Meanwhile prepare flavoured oil and the filling.
In a small bowl, mix oil , garlic paste and lemonzest and place it in the microwave for a minute. Keep it aside.
Keep the filling ready. Sauté the mushroom and onion for a minute .Add salt .
Keep sliced paprika ready .
Let the dough double in size.
Gently punch the dough.
Knead the dough for a minute or two.
Divide the dough into 14 portions.
Each portion weigh around 30 gms .
Place the filling along with paprika and cheese .
Seal the edges .
Arrange them in a 8 " round tin .
Brush it with flavoured oil . Keep 1 tbsp of oil aside .
Let it proof ..
Meanwhile pre heat the oven at 180 degree C with top and bottom rods on.
Cover the tin with aluminum foil and bake for 13 minutes. Now remove the aluminum foil and apply the flavoured oil.
Bake for another 3-4 mins with top rod alone on or until it is evenly brown.
