Spicy Fish Cutlet

Ingredients

  • 300 g Fish
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 4 tbsp Oil
  • 1 cup Chopped Onion
  • 1 tbsp Freshly ground black pepper
  • 4-5 count Red/Green chillies
  • 2 tbsp Ginger chopped
  • 3 tbsp Garlic chopped
  • 2 cup Mashed Potatoes
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 count Egg
  • Breadcrumbs to coat
  • Oil for frying

Use any fish of your choice.I am using Tuna here.

Take 1/4 cup of water in a saucepan.Heat it on low flame.Add turmeric,salt ,pepper ,salt and fish. Cook it on low flame for 4-5 minutes.

Remove the bones if any.

Keep the chopped ingredients ready.

Place a thick bottom frying on medium flame. Add 4 tbsp of oil. Add ginger,garlic and chopped chillies. Fry them for a minute or two. Add onion.Now add mashed potatoes.

Keep stirring. Cook for 3-4 minutes. Turn off the flame.

Use a table spoon to make even sized balls.

Refrigerate it 30 minutes.

Keep the bread crumbs ready.

Dip the cutlets in gently beaten egg and coat it with bread crumbs.

Deep fry them and serve hot.
