Smoked Paprika Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups All purpose flour/ Maida
  • 1 1/2 cups Bread flour
  • 1 tsp Instant dry yeast
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Refined oil
  • 3/4 cup Water
  • 1 count Egg
  • 3 tbsp Smoked paprika powder
  • 1 tbsp Black pepper powder
  • 1 tbsp Garlic paste

Mix all the dry ingredients together in a stand mixer bowl.

Add gently beaten egg and water.

Knead for 10-12 minutes on medium speed.

Add refined oil. Knead for 5-6 minutes on medium speed. Add 2-3 tbsp of extra water if the dough is too stiff.

Cover the bowl with cling film.Let the dough double in volume.

Meanwhile, grease and dust a loaf tin.

Punch down the dough gently. Shape it into a log.

Place the dough into the prepared loaf tin.

Let the dough rise.

Preheat the oven at 180 degrees C. Place the tin into the oven. Bake for 40 minutes at 180 degrees C.

Take the loaf out. Apply butter liberally.Let the loaf cool for 3-4 hours.
