Sheet Pizza
Ingredients
For the dough
- 2 cup All purpose flour/Maida
- 3/4 tbsp Instant dry yeast
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 1/2 cups Water
For the toppings
- 5-6 count Sausages
- 5-6 count Mushroom
- 1 cup Pizza sauce
- Olive oil to drizzle
- 1/3 cup Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup Mozzarella cheese
- 3-4 count Fresh basil leaves
Directions
For the toppings
Keep the pizza sauce ready. Please check my blog for the detailed recipe.
Heat a pan. Add 2-3 tbsp of oil. Add the sliced sausages and mushrooms. Add salt and Italian seasoning. Turn off the heat. Keep it aside.
For the dough
In a bowl , mix all the ingredients together except water and oil.
Add water and knead the dough for 6 minutes.
Now add oil. Add 1-2 tbsp of extra water if the dough is too stiff.
Shape the dough into a ball. Place the dough into a well oiled bowl. Cover it with cling film. Let it double in volume.
Now punch down the dough gently.
Line a large Swiss roll tin with parchment sheet.
Using a rolling pin, roll out the dough into a rectangular shape.
Place the dough into the prepared tin. Prick the dough with a fork.
Pre heat the oven at 180 degrees C for 10 minutes with both the rods on.
Place the prepared tin into the oven. Bake for 8 mins.
Remove it from the oven.
Now spread the pizza sauce evenly.
Now spread the cooked toppings, basil leaves and cheese. Drizzle olive oil generously on top.
Place it back into the oven.
Bake for 10-12 minutes.
