Sandwich Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups All purpose flour/Maida
  • 1 1/2 cups Bread flour
  • 1 tsp Instant dry yeast
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 3/4 cup Non alcoholic beer
  • 1 count Egg
  • 2 tbsp Refined oil

Keep your stand mixer bowl ready .

Heat the beer on low flame for a minute or two.

Add all the ingredients into the mixer bowl except oil.

Knead for 10 minutes.

Add oil.

Add 2-3 tbsp of water if the dough is too stiff.

Knead for another 5minutes.

Shape the dough into ball. Place it in a well oiled bowl.Let it double in volume. Cover the bowl with cling or wet towel. Allow the dough to rise.

Now punch down the dough gently. Knead for 3-4 minutes.

Grease and dust a loaf tin.

Shape the dough i into a loaf.

Bake for 30 minutes @180 degrees C.

Turn off the oven. Remove the loaf from the loaf tin. Allow the loaf to cool well before slicing. Apply butter liberally . Let the loaf rest for 3-4 hours.
