Rosemary Beer Buns

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups All purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups Bread flour
  • 1 count Egg
  • 1 cup Luke warm beer
  • 1 tsp Instant dry yeast
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 2 tsp Rosemary
  • 2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp Oil

Keep the stand mixer bowl ready. Add all the ingredients except beer and oil.

Knead on low speed for 2-3 minutes. Add slightly warm beer.

Knead on medium speed for 8-10 minutes. Add oil. Knead for another 4-5 minutes.

Cling wrap the mixer bowl. Let the dough rise and double in volume.

Now, gently punch down the dough. Knead for 2-3 minutes. Divide the dough into 10 equal portions each weighing around 65 gms. Shape them into balls.

Grease and dust a 9” aluminium pan . Line with parchment sheet.

Place the balls into the prepared tin. Let it double in volume.

Meanwhile, Pre heat the oven at 180 degrees C with both the rods on.

Place the tin in the oven.

Bake for 20-25 minutes or until done.

Apply salted butter liberally.
