Rose Milk Almond Bread with Honey butter Glaze

Ingredients

  • 2 cup All purpose flour/Maida
  • 1/4 cup Semolina
  • 3/4 tsp Instant dry yeast
  • 3 tbsp Rose milk powder
  • 2 tbsp Milk powder
  • 1/4 Chopped Almond
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 tbsp Refined oil

Directions

In a bowl, mix, flour, semolina, yeast, sugar, salt , rose milk powder and milk powder well.

Add water. Knead for 6-7 minutes. Increase the quantity of the liquid if the dough is too stiff.

Add oil and knead for another 3-4 minutes.

Shape it into a ball and place it into a well oiled bowl.

Let it double in volume.

Now, punch down the dough gently. Add finely chopped almonds.

Shape it into buns / bread.

Let it rise.

Meanwhile, heat the oven at 180 degree C.

Place the tin into the oven. Bake for 25 minutes.

Take the tin out .Apply salted butter/ Egg wash it.

Place it back to the oven. Bake for 3-4 minutes until the crust is golden brown in colour.

Remove the bread from the tin. Apply honey butter liberally.

For honey butter, mix 2 tbsp of honey and 2 tbsp butter. Microwave it for a minute.
