Red wine chocolate cake with wine glaze

Ingredients
- 1 cup All purpose flour/ maida
- 3/4 tsp Baking powder
- 1/2 cup Salted butter
- 1/4 cup Brown sugar
- 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup Cocoa powder
- 1 count Egg
- 1/8 tsp Grape essence
- 3/4 cup Red wine
- 1/4 cup Choco chips

Grease and dust a 6" round tin or ring mould . Sift flour, cocoa and baking powder thrice. Pre heat the oven at 150 degree C.

Cream the butter and sugar . Add slightly beaten egg.

Gently fold in the sifted dry ingredients and red wine,starting and ending with flour. Add grape essence. Fold in choco chips.

Transfer the batter into the prepared cake tin .Bake at 150 degree C for 35 mins or until done.
For the glaze

Let the cake cool a bit.Beat 3 tbsp of red wine and 1/2 cup confectioners sugar well using a whisk. Pour over the cake and refrigerate for 10 mins.
