Peanut butter Chocolate chip Cookies

Ingredients

  • 2 cups All purpose flour/Maida
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/4 cup Salted butter
  • 1/2 cup Peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1 count Egg
  • 8-10 count Fresh Basil leaves
  • 1/2 cup Lindt 70% chocolate

Sift the flour and baking powder thrice.

Cream butter and sugar.

Add gently beaten egg.

Add the sifted flour and finely chopped basil leaves.

Now add 1/2 cup of chocolate broken into tiny pieces.

Knead lightly for a minute or two.

Divide the dough into two portions.

Cling wrap the dough.

Refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, take a rectangular baking tin. Line it with parchment paper.

Take 1 tsp of dough. Give the desired shape.

Refrigerate it for 20 minutes.

Pre heat the oven at 140 degrees C on fan mode.

Bake the cookies for 18-20 minutes.

Take the cookies out. Transfer to a wire rack.
