Paprika Garlic Foccacia Crisps
Ingredients
- 1 cup All purpose flour
- 1 cup Bread flour
- 1 tsp Instant dry yeast
- 1 count Egg
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Refined oil
- 1/2 cup Water
- 3 tbsp Smoked Paprika Powder
- 4 tbsp Garlic paste
Directions
Mix all the dry ingredients in a stand mixer bowl on medium speed.
Add gently beaten egg and water.
Knead for 10 -12 minutes on medium speed. Add refined oil.
Knead for another 5-6 minutes.
Turn off the mixer. Cover the dough with cling film or a wet kitchen towel.
Let the dough rise. Let it double in volume.
Punch down the dough gently.
Knead for a minute or two.
Grease and dust a rectangular tin. Line with parchment sheet.
Roll out the dough into rectangular shape.
Place the dough gently into the prepared tin. Let it rise.
Meanwhile, Pre heat the oven at 180 degrees C.
Gently make small dents in the dough using your knuckles.
Place the tin into the oven.
Bake for 25 minutes at 180 degrees C.
Let the bread cool well.
Slice the foccacia into small strips.
Brush the strips with oil or butter.
Bake on low heat at 140 degrees C for 50 minutes.
