Orange Tea Cake

Ingredients

  • 150 g Maida/ All purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/8 tsp Baking soda
  • 120 g Salted butter
  • 130 g Granulated sugar
  • 2 count Eggs
  • 2 tsp Orange zest
  • 1/4 cup Orange juice
  • 30 g Lindt Chocolate

Directions

Pre heat the oven at 150 degrees C.

Grease and dust a 8” aluminium pan.

Sift the dry ingredients thrice.

Cream butter , orange zest and sugar well.

Add gently beaten eggs.

Now gently fold in the sifted ingredients and orange juice. Add 1-2 tbsp of water / milk if the batter is too thick.Gently fold in the chocolate pieces.

Bake for 30-40 minutes at 150 degrees C or until done.
