Mushroom Chicken Sausages Swirl Bun..
Ingredients
- 2 cups All purpose flour/Maida
- 1/2 cup Semolina
- 3/4 tsp Instant dry yeast
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 3/4 tbsp Salt
- 1 cup Spiced Butter Milk
For the filling
- 1 cup Chicken sausages cut into small pieces
- 1/2 cup Mushrooms cut into small pieces
- 1/4 cup Onion chopped
- 2 tbsp Garlic chopped
- 1 tbsp Ginger chopped
- 2 tbsp Green Chilli sauce
- 2 tsp Pepper powder
- Oil
- 3 tbsp Spring onion chopped
- 1 cup Mozzarella cheese grated
- 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese grated
Directions
For the filling
Heat a non stick pan, Add oil . Sauté all the ingredients except cheese.Add salt to taste. You can also add 1 tbsp of green chili sauce for extra flavour. Turn off the heat. Let it cool.
For the dough
In a bowl mix apf, semolina,instant dry yeast, sugar and salt well.
Add butter milk and knead the dough for 6 minutes.
Add 1 tbsp of oil.Knead well for another 3-4 minutes.
Shape the dough into a ball.
Place it into a well oiled bowl.
Cover it with cling film.
Allow it to double in volume.
Now punch down the risen dough gently.
Using a rolling pin, roll the dough into rectangular shape.
Once the dough a rolling pin, roll the dough into rectangular shape.
Knead for a minute or two.
Carefully spread the filling and grater cheese using a spatula and roll the dough tightly into a log.
Now, using a sharp knife, divide the dough into 12 equal parts.
Grease two muffin pans.
Place each portion of the dough into the muffin pan.
Let it proof.
Pre heat the oven t 180 degrees C.
Cover the muffin tin with aluminium foil.
Place it into the oven and bake for 15 mins.
Remove the tin from the oven.Discard the aluminium foil. Egg wash the dough.
Place it back into the oven.
Increase the temperature a bit.
Bake until the crust is golden brown in colour.
Remove the buns from the oven.
Apply butter liberally.
Remove the buns to a wire rack.
