Hot milk sponge marble cake..
Ingredients
- 1 1/8 cup All purpose flour/ Maida
- 1 1/8 tsp Baking powder
- 2 count Egg
- 3/4 cup Granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 1 tbsp Cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup Salted butter
- 1 1/2 tsp Sweet lime juice
- Grape essence -3drops
- 1 tsp Sweet lime zest
- 2 tsp Dehydrated apple
Directions
Pre heat the oven at 140 degree c. Grease and dust a 7" cake tin. Heat the milk.Let it boil for a minute.Turn off the heat and keep it aside. Now in a separate bowl melt the butter and keep it aside. Powder the granulated sugar . Keep the sweet lime zest and juice ready . Sift the flour with baking powder thrice.
Chop the dehydrated apples in to small pieces.
In a bowl , beat the egg well .Add powdered sugar little by little. Add the sweet lime zest. Beat it until it is almost stiff and light yellow in colour.
Using a spatula , gently fold in flour.
Add milk .Milk should be warm.
Now gently fold in melted butter.
Add sweet lime juice.
Divide the batter into two portion. To one part ,add three drops of grape essence and cocoa powder.

Spoon in both the batter alternately.
Using a toothpick ,give a gentle swirl .

Place dehydrated apple on top. Do not shake or stir.
Bake at 140 degree c for 35 - 40 mins or until done.
