Hibiscus Ginger Syrup

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Hibiscus flower powder
  • 1 1/2 cup Water
  • 1 tsp Finely sliced ginger
  • 3/4 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Coconut water
  • Lemon juice

Directions

In a saucepan, boil water, hibiscus powder, ginger and sugar for 10-15 minutes on low heat.

Turn off the heat. Let it cool well. Refrigerate it overnight.

Strain the liquid the next day.

Add 2-3 tbsp of hibiscus syrup to 1 cup of chilled coconut water. Add 1 tsp of lemon juice. Add ice cubes. Stir well and serve.
