Coffee Walnut Cake

Ingredients

  • 125 g All purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp Baking powder
  • Baking Soda- A pinch
  • 110 g Salted Butter
  • 115 g Granulated Sugar
  • 2 count Eggs
  • 1/4 cup Lightly toasted Walnuts (chopped)
  • 2 1/2 tbsp Nescafé powder
  • 1 tbsp Warm water
  • 1/4 cup Milk

Pre heat the oven at 150 degrees C.

Sift all the dry ingredients thrice. Grease and dust a 6” aluminium tin.

Cream butter and sugar.

Add lightly beaten eggs.

Fold in the sifted ingredients gently.

Mix Nescafé powder and warm water.

Add to the batter. Add milk.

Transfer to the prepared tin. Bake at 150 degrees C for 35-40 minutes or until done.
