Chocolate Pistachio Cookies

Ingredients

  • 220 g All purpose flour/Maida
  • 35 g Cocoa Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Baking powder
  • 110 g Salted butter
  • 130 g Brown Sugar
  • 200 g Milk chocolate
  • 90 g Chopped Pistachios
  • 1 count Egg

In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder and cocoa powder well.

Sift it 3-4 times.

Melt Milk chocolate and butter in microwave. Keep it aside.

Mix chopped pistachios and flour well.

Beat egg and brown sugar well.

Fold in the flour mixture.

Add melted chocolate .

Mix it gently.

Shape it into a log.

Cover it with cling film and refrigerate it for 30 minutes.

Slice it evenly and neatly. Line a rectangular tin with parchment sheet.

Refrigerate it for another 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, pre heat the oven at 140 degrees C with top and bottom rods.

Place the baking tray on the middle rack.

Bake for 20 mins.

Take the tray out and transfer the cookies to a wire rack. Let it cool.
