Banana Raisin Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups All purpose flour/ Maida
  • 1 1/2 cups Bread flour
  • 1 tsp Instant dry yeast
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 cup Banana mashed
  • 1/4 cup Raisin chopped
  • 1 tbsp Cinnamon powder
  • 1 count Egg
  • 1 cup Water/ Milk

Directions

Keep the stand mixer bowl ready. Mix all the ingredients together except oil.

Knead for 12-15 minutes. Add oil. Knead for another 3-4 minutes.

Cover the bowl with a wet towel. Let the dough double in volume.

Punch down the dough gently. Knead for 2-3 minutes.

Shape the dough into a loaf. Place it into a well greased loaf tin.

Let the dough rise till the rim of the tin.

Pre heat the oven at 180 degrees C.

Place the tin into the oven. Bake for 30 minutes at 180 degrees C.

Remove the loaf from the tin. Apply butter liberally. Allow the bread to cool for 3-4 hours.
