Banana Mawa Pistachio Cake

Ingredients

  • 125 g All purpose flour/Maida
  • 1/2 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp Baking soda
  • 90 g Salted butter
  • 2 count Egg
  • 60 g Mawa
  • 1/2 cup Coarsely ground pistachios
  • 80 g Granulated sugar
  • 80 g Overripe mashed banana
  • 1/2 tsp Cardamom powder
  • 6 tbsp Warm milk

Directions

Pre heat the oven at 150 degrees C. Grease and dust a 8” round aluminium cake tin. Sift flour, baking powder and baking soda thrice. Keep it aside.

Cream butter and sugar well.

Add mawa and cardamom powder. Add gently beaten eggs.

Continue creaming.

Now add mashed bananas. Fold in the sifted flour and warm milk. Add pistachios.

Transfer the batter into to the prepared tin.

Bake at 150 degrees C for 35-40 minutes or until done.
