Banana cinnamon clove cake

This cake extremely light, soft and moist cake is flavored with cloves & cinnamon . I used demerara sugar infused with real Madagascar vanilla for deep rich golden brown color.This makes a lovely dessert if paired with orange flavored ice cream .
Ingredients
- 1 cup All purpose flour
- tsp Baking powder
- tsp Baking soda
- tsp Salt
- cup Demerara sugar
- 1 count Egg
- cup Butter
- cup Thick curd
- cup Banana pureed
- 3 tbsp Cashew nut chopped
- 1 tsp Cinnamon powder
- 2 count Cloves

Pre heat the oven at 180 degree C . Grease and dust a 8" round cake tin . Powder the sugar along with cloves . Sift flour,baking powder,soda powder,salt and cinnamon powder . Cream butter and sugar . Add beaten egg and mix well . Add curd and mix gently . The mixture may curdle while adding curd . Using a spatula ,fold in rest of the dry ingredients very gently . Add chopped cashew nuts . Transfer the batter into prepared cake tin . Bake for 35-40 minutes or until done .
